We are Luma Engineering Ltd and we were formed with a focus on specialist preventative and reactive maintenance. Our services extend to all types of mechanical processing machinery including but not limited to pumps, gearboxes, turbines and compressors.

Having over 50 years’ experience in working in the Petrochemical industry in some of the main refineries in Europe we have the experience and knowledge to handle any project awarded to ourselves.

Where possible we are also able to carry out onsite repairs to facilitate a much more efficient service allowing for your valued assets to be available when you need them.

We only employ those technicians with genuine experience in our industry; they are all HNC qualified and time served – this ensures we can offer our clients an extremely superior service and we are confident of their abilities to work professionally and safely at all times.

About Us

Luma Engineering Ltd was founded by Luke Peetoom and Matthew Payne after identifying shortages of skilled engineering services within our industry.

We have over 50 years of experience in working for some of the major names in the Petrochemical industry, and our team have worked on some of the largest and most complex refineries in Europe. With a wealth of knowledge in our operations, maintenance, repair and commissioning of all mechanical equipment we know that we can deliver expertise and professionalism at every stage.

UK Wide & Large Premises

We are currently operating in multiple locations across the UK with a large selection of clients. Due to our increased workload we have recently outgrown our previous premises, so we have relocated to a new, larger facility.  In doing so we have bought out one of our local competitors who have provided a specialist pump repair and machining services for over 30 years.

We run a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week service, with dedicated teams of skilled personnel. It is our belief that, by forming the close working relationships that we have built with all of our clients, we can offer a far superior service when compared with our competition.
